As Kindy said, Halo 3 is just Halo 2 with prettier graphics and some new guns. Halo 2 was just Halo 1 with a few extra guns you could now carry two of in different hands and online play. Halo 1 was just a sad attempt to mix good elements of many great FPSs into one game. The result wasn't a fantastic game though, it was just a good game. Halo didn't really do anything new. Just about every aspect of Halo came from a different game. You could just play those other games like Unreal Tournament which are excellent.
Basically, Microsoft made a Microsoft game with the Halo sequels. Same basic thing with a few tweaks, new box, and new price tag.

I would have to agree with ya sc7, while i will admit that the halo 2, halo 3 are pretty good games in my eyes there are better. I would much rather be playing cod4 simply because i'm sure for online there is much more squadplay not just running around and shoot em up style play. But then again thats my preference.

Absolutely, the Halos are great games, but not the best.
I can't wait to get a hold of CoD4.
