I posted like 5 or 6 times and my post count won't go up. Does anybody know y?

Its because you post in the OT.

Off Topia/Topic posts don't go towards your post count.

Is post count enabled in all forums? How long have you been stuck at 51?

If you posted in "off-topia", your posts will not count.

Because most of its spam or just randomness.

Posts that make sense, like this one, informative,helpful etc posts like that go towards your posts..which most posts outside of OT should be informative and such.

Probably so people don’t inflate their post count on spam. So it’s a better way to gauge forum contribution.

you would have 20,286 posts if OT counted. you spend more time helping/getting info, which is good. >1/2 of your posts are counted. ive only got about 1/5 posts counting ^^;

ZeldaFan, you'll see a lot of people with low post counts even though they've been here forever. OT tends to be a whirlpool that sucks everyone in once they enter, so taking away the post count there makes it an incentive to post outside of OT. helps promote forum growth and member contributions and the like.

im special and know how to explore :3 thats how i found how many posts per person in a certain thread, and how many total posts a person has. sometimes, like in the case of total posts including OT, there's a bit of math involved, but its simple multiplication and addition.

there's (usually) always a way, you just have to find it.

Try clicking the "Reveal Non-Off Topia Posts" button

Just click the find all posts button and multiply 20 by however many pages the search returns.
