next GH game will be harder
The next game in the Guitar Hero franchise is destined to be harder than previous iterations of the series.
Last night, at a Guiness Book of World Records event where the Guitar Hero 3 world record was broken, Red Octane co-founder Charles Huang promised difficulty:
“We keep making the game harder and harder," Huang said after watching a 97% score on "Through the Fire and Flames." "It’s amazing to see someone like this break the record, even on Guitar Hero 3, where I thought it would be impossible, so clearly we have to go back and make the game even harder."
Work out those fingers, buddy. It's gonna be a rough ride!

GH3 is hard as it is already. i honestly had more fun with GH2 than 3. this is one of those games where they really shouldnt try to cater too much to the hardcore (the ones who can beat TTFNF).
what do you guys think?

They can make it harder than TTFATF on expert?!
MY GOD THEY'LL BREAK THE UNIVERSE
I reckon new Sony console will be unveiled about 2012-2013, released late 2014. New xbox will be unveiled about 2011 and released christmas 2012. The new Nintendo console will just be a puppy.

I honestly haven't even started playing it on Hard yet. I constantly play it on medium as I find I enjoy it more and it tends to feel more like playing a guitar. When playing on hard it seems it's basically remembering and button mashing. I don't find that enjoyable at all.

i agree, but the one thing that really bothers me is that the achievements for GH3 are terrible. score 1M points in a song? get a 1000 note streak? 5-star 20 expert songs? c'mon! they need to look at the achievements for rock band. theyre fun to get and dont require guitar breaking seizures. the boss battles were such a buzz kill too.
all i ask is that they not include any achievements for the super expert players and keep it, as much as i hate to say it, casual.

imma tell u guyz a secret on how no to lose on that beginning on expert lol.its basically just a long hammer-on so u only need to strum once unless u miss a few ^^ the the rest is hella hard lol
