One has to admit that Activision have been quite good about the mini-scandal surrounding the stereo-less Guitar Hero III games exclusive to Wii. They've offered full replacements on said games, supplying updated copies of the smash hit title for free; and considering that they could have just as easily ignored it, this is quite clearly a compliment to their fanbase.
But, it turns out this is not their only act of generosity. If unsatisfied consumers do not deem this as a fair trade, then Activision will give them a full cash refund on their purchase. It's difficult to tell how many owners of the Wii version of Guitar Hero III will benefit from either of these options, but hey a deal is a deal!
